Sunday before we leave for New Orleans

Holy Cross sponsored a sending ceremony for our group today. Prayers were said for open hearts and safety.  

We have been very blessed by Holy Cross and the donations of money, food and gift cards.  Dan is shopping with Derek, Josh, Emily, Nick and Sam for the rest of the food needed for the trip.  It is great to see the involvement of the youth in planning.

We are literally hours away from the start of our trip.  Some 33,000 Lutheran high school students are expected to attend.  Can you imagine the excitement? The energy?
